Spokane Public Library hired us to rebrand the organization to better reflect its strategic plan. The library offers a variety of services and products, which are communicated through the logo design by using symbolic open book shapes to form a starburst pattern. The color palette conveys inclusiveness and creates a sense of energy and inspiration.

 

Beyond the logo design, we wrote the tagline A Community of Learning, and developed a voice tone and messaging document with marketing language to use by the Library's team when communicating with the library’s diverse audiences of young professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, community groups, college students, lifelong learners, immigrant populations, families, children, youth, adult readers, and seniors.

We created an internal-facing Brand Positioning Statement to guide for Spokane Public Library marketing decision making, service offerings, and customer relationships.

We wrote marketing copy samples for specific audience groups, including dozens of headlines created for library staff use when developing their own advertising, digital marketing, in-branch promotions, website messaging, and other materials. Work included sister identities for the Friends of the Library and the Spokane Public Library Foundation, library brochures, rack cards, bookmarks, retractable banners, and extensive brand guidelines.
