How we helped

  • Branding,
  • Digital,
  • Advertising,
  • Marketing

Since 1889, Avista has powered the region. Avista generates, transmits, and delivers power to homes and businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest. We began helping Avista tell their story through a variety of projects in the 1990s.

Each year, we undertake the development of their extensive annual report. For over a dozen years, we’ve created each report’s theme and messaging, followed by its design and production. The 152-page publication typically contains a full-color Financial and Operating Highlights section and a 144-page 10-K section detailing the company’s business holdings and accounting details. After several months of concept development, design, writing, photography, content layout, proofing, and printing, the project wrap-ups in March.

In 2014, when When Avista celebrated its 125th anniversary, we researched, wrote, designed, and published a full-color corporate historical recap book, 125 Years and Counting: A 25-Year Commemorative Look Back at 1889 to 2014. The book received the highly coveted Dussault Award in the Spokane MarCom competition. Following the first book’s success, we researched, wrote, and produced a second book, A Pipeline of Progress: A History of Avista Natural Gas.

Avista is trusted to deliver reliable, sustainable energy and innovative services to more than 600,000 customers. We’re proud Avista entrusts us to tell its corporate story each year.

Another innovative project we created for Avista was the interactive mobile exhibit for the Mobius Children’s Museum, including design, illustration, writing, and production. Take a look at the Avista Mobius Exhibit.
