Visit Spokane “Room to Roam” Campaign

It’s a unique experience to develop and promote an integrated campaign during a pandemic—especially when that campaign promotes travel and tourism. But with safety being one of the key messaging components, we created Visit Spokane’s Room to Roam awareness campaign, which encourages visitors to safely explore all the amazing outdoor adventures the Spokane region has to offer.
To stand out from tourism campaigns from other regions, we integrated whimsical illustrations into photos and live-action videos. The campaign includes print, digital, and outdoor/transit advertising, a campaign landing page, and TV/OTT spots created in collaboration with local creatives. These tactics show audiences in Seattle and Portland interesting and fun things to do in and around Spokane—away from crowds.
Over $3.9 million in room night revenue has been booked so far as a result of the campaign, and Visit Spokane received record-breaking visits to its website the past two months.
