Greetings from Christmas Past & Present

christmas past present

Many people in Spokane fondly remember their family’s annual trip downtown to enjoy the iconic Crescent Department Store holiday window displays. For those that didn’t experience them, or would love to relive those memories, you’ve got a chance to get in on the tradition.

Thanks to Liz Hooker of DSP, the magic of Christmas past is alive and well again in Spokane. For the third year, the display’s animatronic animals have been resurrected, with new holiday displays along Main Street on the south side of the Davenport Grand Hotel.

This year we were invited to join the team to help reimagine these historic windows. Our illustrator, Tiffany Patterson, designed the five new themes; and along with Liz and local artists Jazmin Ely, Derrick Freeland, Stephanie Bogue, and Melanie Lieb, painted and installed the displays. Visit Spokane's Jamie Rand and STCU were gracious supporters of the project.

Klündt Hosmer invites you and your family to enjoy the tradition of these nostalgic Christmas windows. While this year’s holidays may not be like those of the past, these windows are a reminder there is still hope, love, and wonder to be found if we look for it.

Wishing you the best and Happy Holidays from your friends at Klündt Hosmer!
