We offer full-service hosting for sites that we develop. Our hosting setup is different from common self-service hosting in which the client is usually responsible for uploading, configuring and maintaining their own website. This is a list of services we provide as a part of any of our hosting plans:
- DNS Configuration—we can configure your domain to point to our server.
- Site Setup—we move your site from our staging server to the live server, configure it and verify it is working properly.
- Site Maintenance—we maintain your website and the server, and address any issues related to the hosting of the website.
- Content Updates—We provide a web-based Content Management System (CMS) interface that allows customers to update site content.
- Site Updates—We work directly with the customer to release site updates, add features or make design changes to their site.
- Full-Service File Management—Unlike common self-service hosting plans, we do not usually provide FTP access to the site, as in most cases it is not necessary. This allows our clients to not have to worry about FTP access, html or PHP code, etc. However, we can provide FTP access to the site if a specific situation requires it.
Server Specifications
Our primary server is co-located at Netriver in Lynnwood, WA.
- Climate Control—Our server site is a 100% climate-controlled environment; temperature and humidity are closely monitored.
- Data Redundancy & Backup—all data is mirrored in real time and automatic daily backups store all information to an external storage drive.
- Power Redundancy—Connections to multiple points in the power grid, UPS power protection, and on-site diesel generators provide multiple sources of power in case of a power outage.
- Internet Redundancy—Protection against an internet outage is provided by connections to 3 major internet backbones.
- Our hosting uptime is 99.9%.
