Take a Seat, Charles

The other day I needed to do some things with my children (they are on summer break) so I decided to work from home.

That's not something that I do regularly, but I was amazed at the quality of the work that I was able to produce while I was away from the office.

Something that really contributed to my productivity is the fact that I was sitting in my favorite piece of furniture: A Charles Eames chair with ottoman (see photo).

I haven't figured out how to get a chair like that into my Commission Building office, but I am certain that working in a piece of furniture that well-designed, injects dimensions of creative juice that can't be gained in an Aeron or any other standard office chair.

Charles Eames, I salute your furniture design talents and the insiration you bring to my work.
